I have been working at Anheuser-Busch full-time (More than a year)

Pros

If you enjoy the beer industry there can be some good perks depending on where you are in the company.

Cons

No opportunity for growth and extremely low pay. Lied a lot in the interview about career path and what the job actually entailed.
While they appear picky about who they hire, it seems they just take advantage of those qualified employees once they get in the door.

Advice to Management

Be more open in your career path options and really look at your own qualified employees. Invest in your own your own.

    I worked at Anheuser-Busch full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive salary, good benefits, good people at the local level.

    Cons

Corporate America at it's worst. All about the money and squeezing every last drop out of people and products. Work-life balance is non-existent. Instead of working 50 hours a week it was 55-60 hours. Was expected to be on call at all hours and on weekends, but not given a phone. Hourly employees were treated as assets, not people. It was not a company I was proud to be a part of.

    Advice to Management

Some serious soul searching and realignment is needed if you are going to succeed after the older workforce retires.

I have been working at Anheuser-Busch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people and the product. Lots of responsibilities, fast-paced environment. Open office environment fosters communication within your department and cross-functionally.

    Cons

Long working hours due to such a lean staff. While open offices are great for communication, it can be somewhat of an issue attempting to secure office space for confidential conversations.
