Pros
Recruitment is one of the things that you get out what you put in, it really needs to be the mindset you take. In a market driven environment there is naturally high points and low points but AMC has a solid client base which I felt was strong to capitalise on. Personally I had good successes during my time with a very solid support network from my manager and wider team who I worked with. I felt that the training I was given gave a base to the learning, my manager then supported and coached me throughout my time. It’s a very hands-on learning job so training can only go so far.
Cons
The flexibility of working isn’t available to the extent in other competitors/industries. Can feel quite KPI focused at times specially assessing time spent on the phone or a number of calls which for me personally can cause people to take a quantity over quality approach.

Pros
During my internship with Anson McCade I was treated like a regular employee and did everything a normal consultant would do. The training was great and I learnt so much from this experience. From managing candidates through interview processes, closing deals and speaking with Directors from massive consultancies, I have now got real exposure to the industry. The work ethic in here is amazing and everyone around you pushes you to improve. Whether recruitment is something you want to go into after university or not, you will gain invaluable skills here at Anson McCade.
Cons
If you are competitive and money-driven like I am, you will love it here at Anson McCade!
