Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Aon Hewitt full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Since Hewitt was purchased by Aon there has been little change. It is still a good place for someone straight out of college to gain experience .

Cons

Little to no training. If you want to learn you will need to push your manager to provide you with the time. The harder you work the more work they pile on. Managers see the problems but do nothing to weed out the problems.

Advice to Management

AonHewitt is supposed to be a Human Resources Consulting firm. As such you should have benefits that are above average. Instead, you have cut the benefits and keep pushing for more and more work for less total pay.

I worked at Aon Hewitt full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

culture of making things right for the client and treating internal employees fairly - 'benefit of the doubt' culture. Leaders make themselves accessible to help with client issues especially when contracts and deals are on the line but even when it's just BAU and a leader is needed to shore up relationship

    Cons

struggling a bit still with integration of Aon and Hewitt - titles and communication don't sync and not a lot of internal partnership to do things for clients without worrying about internal billing numbers

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to get the account executives out of the 100% sales roles and don't change the job description every 9 months. Look within more to gauge employee interest in being considered for internal leadership positions
