Approves of CEO

I have been working at Aon full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Opportunities (mostly lateral), time-off and vacation are better than most, leadership experience, office culture, the employees are truly Aon's strength in this business.

Cons

Management direction seems confused (push new business, renewals, conflicted in their statements), silos, pay is below average in this market even though management states it's in the upper quartile, management feedback inaccurate.

Advice to Management

Goal setting never really followed through, want to keep the up and comers 2% raises won't do.

I worked at Aon full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

amazing depth and breadth of international, national toolbox delivered in client-centric, local level.

    Cons

lack of accountability of local management to upper management; lack of managerial and leadership skills on local office level.

    Advice to Management

conduct exit interviews; ours is a people business. Good employees don't leave an organization; they leave managers. Personally i was SOLD on the AH value proposition but unable to continue in a chronically toxic work environment due to lack of leadership.
