I have been working at Apollo Education Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The staff and co workers keep it running, they are great. There are still growth opportunities at Apollo, and hopefully these will improve.

    Cons

Apollo is going through some major changes due to the market. This has resulted in major reorganizations and senior management changes regularly.

    Advice to Management

Meet with the employees regularly (this is starting to happen) give the survivors some measure of confidence that we are heading in the right direction and that the surrent staff will stay and attrition will stop.

I worked at Apollo Education Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There are a lot of truly talented people that work for Apollo...even some of those that work at a C-level.

    Cons

Unfortunately, that they're in transition. The company has taken on a clinical feel, where the staff working for and contributing to Apollo's successes seemingly mean very little.
Staff at Apollo are not viewed as assets, contributing to the company's success.
Leadership does nothing to show staff that they are valued members of the company.
Training and development within the company is seriously lacking; those budgets continue to get cut forcing staff to obtain/maintain their cerfications of their own accord.
A disconnected bunch of C-level execs.

    Advice to Management

Listen to those that work for you at all levels within the organization, and better involve them and their input when you make decisions that impact those who DO NOT work in the upper echelons of the organization.
    Practice what you preach.
Innovation? When you seek input, no one hears anything back!
    Better communicate.
