I have been working at Apple full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great atmosphere with potential to really make it far. Because of your surroundings, it makes it easy to truly step up your game

Cons

It was a bit too many hours for my liking, I dont mind working long hours but at times it was a mess when it came to my scheduling.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work.

I worked at Apple full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was great working from home: no commute, no dress code, no bag lunches. There was a pride factor in working for Apple. Extensive training.

    Cons

No choice in work schedule. I worked evenings and weekends. Communication was horrible from the get-go. While recruiters admitted it was a sales job, they downplayed it severely. In the end, they should not have hired me. Although I seemed to excel at one set of metrics (customer response), which they said was most important, they hammered me on another set of metrics-- basically they wanted me to try to get every caller to buy crap they weren't shopping for. I can't do that. They didn't like that.

    Advice to Management

Be up-front with your prospective employees about the REAL requirements of the job. If it's hard-core sales, tell them that! Then, when they aren't meeting expectations-- communicate that and work with the employee to solve it.
