    Pros

Overall a flexible work schedule. Working for tips can be frustrating sometime, but on the average (including slow day and busy weekends) I'd average around 9-10/hour, so include you base pay it's decent for a part time job in an area with a low cost of living. Also management usually allowed you to trade shifts with other employees if you needed a particular day off.

    Cons

Getting time off to travel over the holidays can be very difficult and frustrating. The best shifts to make money are Friday and Saturday nights so you have to work weekends if you want to make money. People often didn't show up for work so management would often call on short notice to ask if you can work. You don't have to show up since you weren't scheduled, but always saying now will affect your future shifts.

    Advice to Management

I don't know the current manager, but when I was there servers still had to cover their sections during meal breaks. Being able to take a 20 minute break without having to worry about tables would be nice.

    Pros

There is potential to grow within in the company and to make decent money waiting tables if you can find a location that is steady.

    Cons

Management is a very disorganized. Many locations are really slow so it can be hard to make steady money. The customers that are attracted to the restaurant are not always the easiest to deal with and make money from.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to stop trying to be friends with the employees and do their job. People get away with a lot that should not be able to get away with.
