Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Multi-ethnic workforce, safe work environment, ethical. Good bonuses when times are good. Stock grant program and employee stock purchase plan.

Cons

Company has outsourced and cut the workforce to meet unrealistic targets. This has led to a lot of strain on current employees. Poor senior management decisions relating to acquisitions, etc. have left the stock floundering.

    * You are pretty much on your own when it comes to career growth
    * Periodic layoffs have a way of disrupting life

    Pros

There is a lot of opportunity available due to the diversified businesses that the company participates in across the world.

    Cons

A lot of intra company politics which has at times left a demoralized work force particularly after the numerous layoffs over the past decade.

    Advice to Management

Bring focus back to technology. Reduce "bean-counters" ' control on company direction. Think through before adding processes or else they end up being seen as bureaucracy.
