    I have been working at Applied Predictive Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    * Great right-out-of-college experience
    * Attempt to help build your career and your work at APT
    * Recognize flexibility (and casual attire)
    * Good vacation and benefits
    * Nice location, with options for big city and suburb living
    * Great size - small enough to know a lot of people, big enough to be stable
    * Lots of opportunities for "intrapreneurship"

    Cons

    * Some expectation to work late (10am-6:30pm), though flexbility to avoid this
    * Growing, but trying to keep the small company feel, is going to continue to be a challenge
    * Missing some important positions to keep engineers and consultants more focused on their jobs (namely, a coordinator for campus outreach, UX designers, and technical writers for documentation)

    Advice to Management

    * Add and fill aforementioned positions (a coordinator for campus outreach, UX designers, and technical writers for documentation)
    * Better manage priorities for engineers

    I have been working at Applied Predictive Technologies full-time

    Pros

    Great community of super smart people who are not self-important. Accessible execs who care about individuals.

    Cons

    Long hours that could be addressed with more thoughtful commitments by upper management

    Advice to Management

    Think about staffing: how can people who work well together work together more often?
