I worked at Aramark full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Large corporation but, not too big to get things done. Aramark is a service and relationship based company. It values it's people greatly and has succeeded in meeting it's business objectives for many years. If you are people oriented and like to take on growth oriented challenges, this is the company for you.

Cons

Sometimes too conservative in taking risks.

I have been working at Aramark part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free weekends because college campus is closed.

    Cons

Unprofessional and disrespectful management. They definitely pick favorites (ONLY the ones who suck up to them). Terrible pay and bad hours. The low pay is not equivalent to all the work that is required.

    Advice to Management

Learn about humility and take some classes about professionalism!

    Pros

Highest Commission Pay for Route Sales Representatives in the Industry.

    Cons

    Unethical.
Charge Customers for Product and Services the Customer never receives.
Charge Customers for EasyCare Maintenance of Uniforms weekly, but rarely change garments out.
Charge Customers Damage/Ruin charges for Garments that are 3,5,7 years old...
Customers WILL receive 3-5 Price Increases per Year due to Management not being able to Manage the Business, so they put it on the backs of Customers.
When Diesel Prices and Natural Gas prices go up Aramark increases Customers' Service Charge, but when it lowers, the Service Charge WILL NEVER be adjusted...

    Advice to Management

Sell the Uniform Division to Unifirst.
