I have been working at Aramark full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent pay good benefits. Great networking opportunity. This job will teach you to become excellent at conflict resolution.

    Cons

The work load is overwhelming. Not only is it a 50 hour per week delivery/service but add on sales and running back product and specials it's more like 55-60. Incredible amounts of time being spent on dealing with upset customers over increases and you spend most of your time tap dancing during customer cross examination than executing S.T.O.P. If you don't hit company guidelines on their loss and ruin charges it prompts an audit which requires you to dump out soiled bags of towels and linens which contain such reprehensible things from maggots to semen. All for somebody's bonus. Sadly the already mentioned is only the tip of the iceberg. I would only recommend this job to avoid bankruptcy or avoid foreclosure. If you can compartmentalize and check in your integrity at the door than by all means.

    Advice to Management

Aramark is back lined managed and doesn't seek advice from boots on the ground. However, the last line of increases and the "organic" growth scheme executed has done more to tear down this company than the previous 50 non cycle price increases. Our customers are not scared of us anymore. Do we really have to wonder why customers lie when they send in their termination letters? The business we lose because a dm or gm wants to go to Hawaii or get a bonus should make Burbank sick!!!
