Approves of CEO

I worked at Aramark full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great opportunities for advancement, great work environment, ability to switch to new roles during off seasons.

Cons

The hours in Sports, Leisure, Corrections are extremely long with 1-2 days off per week. I averaged a 60 hour work week (12 hour days). Too many corporate 'busy work' programs to track your job.

Advice to Management

Erik Foss has helped implement new programs and is on the right path. Sometimes hierarchy is based on length of time worked with the company versus who has the best matched skills -this should be changed.

I worked at Aramark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

good systems in place for workplace safety, good training, well maintained work areas. It is a stable company where you do not worry about losing your job due to layoffs.

    Cons

It seems to me that only about 3 out of 10 employees is really doing anything. Everybody else is a "Manager" and just walks around trying to look busy but not doing anything. these people will stand there with arms crossed watching you while you are too busy to even take a drink of water!

    Advice to Management

You need less managers and more people actually getting work/tasks accomplished.
