I have been working at Aramark full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Advanced very quickly
Worked in multiple fields; expanded knowledge
Company car; with service and gas. (Even for non-work related trips!)
Assisted in tuition when returning to school
Worked my way up from the bottom to Regional manager w/o degree.
Great benefits and perks (free laptop, cell phone, ect)
Awesome pay for someone with no degree (110k+/year)

Cons

Work long hours sometimes
"On call" 24/7
Had 1 rude boss (out of many)
Hard work sometimes (nothing an overweight 45 year old can't do!)

Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. It's hard to find a company that takes care of its employees like Aramark does! We all appreciate that y'all understand that a happy work base creates more long term profits!

I worked at Aramark full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, yearly raise, friendly team. The strict corporate structure makes it so that no matter where you are working, you are probably using the same programs, jargon, etc.

    Cons

You have to buy into work politics in order to be promoted, and they protect who they like, even if they are the worst employees. Not much work-life balance if you are salaried.

    Advice to Management

You should probably involve lower-level employees before rolling out programs and changes that come at a disadvantage to most.

I have been working at Aramark part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I learned how to think fast, learn fast, and make things work along the way. This job definitely helped me with communication skills ad I have better people skills.

    Cons

This job was pretty demanding for a concession stand job. The pay was way low for the amount of work we were doing, we were paid not a penny over minimum wage. I had jobs that were way less demanding and paid me at least a dollar higher then minimum wage. Also, breaks are never guaranteed. Don't be surprised if your standing while on "lunch break".
