    Pros

Some team members can become life long friends other than that unless you get into the inner circle it is a place to collect a paycheck.

    Cons

No organization, no communication, there is no chance of growth, favortism is very high, nobody understands what their job is, employees morale is so low that their jobs are imapcted, there is a need for a lot of improvement however there is no opportunity to make these improvements.

    Advice to Management

Get to know the people who do the job and what their job is before making decisions on promotions and changes within the department and company.

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Grand Junction, Mesa, CO
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Grand Junction, Mesa, CO
    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The pay was rather good compared to other jobs in the industry although there were no bonuses of any kind.

    Cons

Aramark is all about kickbacks and all roads lead back to that; every vendor is mandated by Aramark standard and usually charge much more than you could get anywhere else so that the company (or higher up) gets their graft. They also charge for clients to use Aramark exclusive programs that do little to benefit the client. As a Manager you spend an unbelievable amount of time proving that you're doing your job as opposed to actually doing it.

    Advice to Management

Be more about actually managing the hospitals, schools, sports arenas, etc. than making money from vendors and paperworking your managers to death.
