I have been working at Arise as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

opportunity to make a stable income
lots of hourly availability with CERTAIN clients
flexible hours
lost of encouragement and personal/professional development

Cons

lack of real support for contacted business. all communications are via chat and email. the only time you'll get to speak to someone about anything is when they call you. This company also has a chronic habit of contacting lots of workers without any place for them on the schedule. This turns out lots of workers without hours to work.

Advice to Management

Build more interpersonal relationships with your contracted businesses.

    I work from home as an independent contractor. I make my own schedule and enjoy helping customers with their travel plans.

    Cons

    I would not get to see people on a daily basis.

    I worked at Arise as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You do get to work at home. You can write off office expenses.

    Cons

    No matter what, there are some network issues and it is hard to get a hold of customer support. After all expenses that you pay upfront, there just isn't enough money to make up for it.

    Advice to Management

    Better communication all the way around. Mostly, I was fed to the sharks.
