I have been working at Arise as a contractor (More than 3 years)

Pros

Make your own schedule ( if hours are available)
Choose Company you work for ex. AT&T, Orkin, ADT, Walgreens, Intuit, Disney etc. (if they are hiring and you meet their criteria.)
Work from home
Always help, your never alone.
A very friendly environment
* I have worked for a few clients, and are currently with walgreens and they are all great opportunities.
Good pay with the option to make more based on call performance.

Cons

When your on the phone with a cust, and need help you have to wait for 5-10 minutes before your questions is answered.
They should train you a little better
depending on client and the time of year, you have to stock starmatic for hours like a hungry hyena!!!
If a contract is terminated you cannot work for any client!
If Urgent service is available, Arise will blow up your phone and email, even when your working!
You cannot have windows 8 OS
You have to pay for training, and training is unpaid

Advice to Management

Let previous employees return back to AT&T.
Upgrade to windows 8!
Let CSPs work for another client even if they have been terminated!! (people make mistakes)
offer paid training

I have been working at Arise as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get get to set your own hours, work from home, and opportunity to have your own business. Get to work independently, and you get to choose your own client. There is lots of support as you work, and throughout the training process.

    Cons

Having to pay for training, and not guaranteed a position, since you aren't guaranteed to pass the tests after training

    Advice to Management

I believe that if you pay for training, you should be guaranteed to be able to pass, or retry until you pass.

I have been working at Arise as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I do like the flexibility of the hours and working from home.

    Cons

What I don't like is the isolation. Your job is to service the client. There are no teams. There is no management, per se. Upper management, meaning your QAPF and the PCL, do not have to respond to any of your questions if they choose not to, if you have a problem with another IBO, tech, or any issue. They will only respond if they think it is relevant. And, what is relevant to them--your numbers. As long as your call times and QAs are good, you may never even speak to your QAPF or PCL.
