Pros

- As a student, they were very flexible for letting you do school work when your tasks were complete & letting you have the day off for tests. It was very evident 'school comes first'
- Learn basic time management and customer service skills
- Opportunity to lead a team

Cons

- Our customers were the students. Majority of the workers could care less about them and their concerns. They were always an 'inconvenience'.
- No accountability. People could slack off, and there was no repercussions.
- Not an open environment. You are encouraged to keep things to yourself and maintain a positive attitude at all times. This is not very useful when you're trying to address problems.
- Hiring/salary freeze hasn't helped anyone
- Not much room to grow. It was more of lateral moves to other schools (liberal arts).

Advice to Management

Take care of the students and help grow the student workers. Fire the workers who do not perform at a basic standard. Give raises when you say you will.

    Pros

Great enthusiasm and willingness to help you at work. Professors are well prepared and show respect to any student at ASU.

    Cons

University keeps on charging money for recovering plans each semester, which are not really cheap. There are students that have to stop going to school to save money for this.

    Advice to Management

ASU should offer more scholarships for all students, it should not matter if the student is foreign or resident student.

    Pros

The health benefits are great plus employees receive a tuition waiver.

    Cons

Poor treatment by management. No time to put the tuition waiver to use. Your pay is lower since it is assumed that you will take advantage of the tuition waiver. No option to waive the tuition waiver for higher pay. Highly political, especially when it comes to Michael Crow.

    Advice to Management

Stop running this university like a business with a focus on the bottom line and start treating employees and students like people.
