In growing to a larger organization, processes often need to be implemented in order to be structured more efficiently. It's never our intention to have excessive bureaucracy, but some are needed as a 2000 employee company is vastly different from a 4000 employee company, which is what we almost to now, vs 5 years ago.
Each one of our offices from small to large all play an integral role in the ARM ecosystem. The Sophia Antipolis Design Center played a vital part in developing our Cortex processor family and is working on the next generation of processors, so from that perspective, it's definitely recognized and applauded!
As for salary, the Rewards team have been reviewing compensation across all levels and regions. Once completed, we will adjust salaries as needed for each person based on skill level/location/market value.
