    Work/Life Balance - AT is particularly supportive of professionals who are parents and allows for flexibility in schedules and remote-working. Exposure to Wide Variety of Work and Clients - Due to AT's expansive list of clientele, professionals at all levels (partners, associates, paralegals, specialists, assistants) have the opportunity to work on all manner of complex projects in a range of industries. Due to the variety, the work is rarely boring. Great Opportunity for Promotion/Career Advancement - As long as you put in the time and effort, AT is very supportive and rewarding in terms of promotion and compensation.

    I worked at Armstrong Teasdale full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Good benefits and decent hours.

    Cons

    They used to be "family friendly" but they stopped caring about their staff about 4 years ago and it became all about how much money they could squeeze out of everyone except the partners' bonuses. Lately for every staff position cut, they add one to HR and Marketing. They don't care how much more work or stress they add to the secretaries by not replacing positions. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that's not going in as a partner. If you're an associate, get used to doing all of your own work because there isn't enough staff to cover you.
