I worked at Arnold Worldwide full-time

Pros

I worked with some kind, thoughtful people who did their very best, no matter how challenging the task or overburdened the team could be.

Cons

While there's an heritage of some decent creative coming out of the Boston office, their pursuit of top-flight digital work eludes them.

Advice to Management

It takes more than the occasional social gesture of a shared glass of wine to destroy the silos that pervade most agencies, including Arnold. A more distinct effort to train and otherwise bring everyone along to embrace new technology would keep Arnold from losing talent to more innovative places.

I have been working at Arnold Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Big place with big accounts. A properly staffed creative department, you will not be working into the wee hours of the night except when a huge assignment rolls around ... something actually worthy of doing that for. Account people are above average in quality. Smart, accomplished people at the top across all departments.

    Cons

A bit too silo'd off — the account your on is the account your on. Culture is really lacking, partially due to the space itself - several floors, almost everyone has an office they spend all day in. This isn't the same Arnold that made "Driver's Wanted" or some of the Truth work, but it's certainly not an amateur hour operation.

    Advice to Management

Chase some sexier brands for your people to work on. They yearn for it. Put greater emphasis on finding interactive/social opportunities, especially in regards to new business.

I worked at Arnold Worldwide as an intern

    Pros

Interesting clients and varied responsibilities. Exposure to high level executives, who were friendly and gave career advice. Effective team environment and the workers did good work overall. Very concerned about the clients' wishes and producing quality work.

    Cons

A few catty employees fighting over freebies brought in by visitors. Timid lower-level employees, afraid to speak up with good suggestions and criticisms. Easy to be overlooked, so jump right in.
