      Could not be happier.

      Pros

I truly can’t say enough good about Arsenal. The entire staff is incredible, everyone truly just wants to see each other succeed and help each other in any way they can. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly with any new employees. It all starts at the top with Aaron and the rest of management who really set the tone of being a company that knows when you treat your people and your clients right, the growth will come. And it is. I can’t wait to see where Arsenal can go over just the next couple of years.

      Cons

Honestly none. If you don’t like cold calling or talking to people than this probably isn’t the job for you, but nothing bad about the company. It’s hard work but the opportunity to be rewarded for that work is second to none.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! Our team really is awesome. Growing a company is much more pleasant and arguably easier when the whole team comes together to help each other succeed! Thank you for being a part of that. We'll continue to do our best to improve your experience and open doors for more pay and career advancement! As you mentioned, if you don't like cold calling / sales, this is not the place to be a sales rep haha! - Aaron

        Pros

You will be hard-pressed to find another opportunity as good as this if you are looking for a way to kickstart your sales career in the Saint Louis area, especially without a college education. From the get-go, you will be able to shadow the company's best sales reps who helped build Arsenal from the ground up and there is more actionable advice to go around than you can imagine. Long story short, the quality of leadership and company culture will keep you coming back day after day.

        Cons

Not cons, but details to be aware of before you apply: - "Frat Culture": >75% of the company are 18-25 year old guys - Remote opportunities shouldn't be expected under normal circumstances - Results-oriented, meaning you will be held to a high standard and have to meet hard deadlines but there is never a shortage of advice or encouragement to go around.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review! I am thrilled to know that you're having a great time! I disagree with the comment about "frat culture" - we are just a young company full of future managers, directors, VPs, etc. We hire those who are ambitious, intelligent, and dependable. Thank you again for joining our team , and I hope you continue to contribute to our great company! - Aaron

          Pros

Good sales experience, working with clients and C-suite

          Cons

Poor upper management, very limited advancement roles, high turnover, frequently changing polices, management constantly keeping everyone in the dark, lots of smoke and mirrors, you do all the work and serve up appointments to clients so your success depends on someone else's ability to close, there is luck involved with which clients you get, if you take PTO you have to make up for it with an already high workload so time off is not realistic, no remote work, frequent pointless meetings, employees leaving, clients leaving. The vast majority of employees are guys straight out of college.

I'll address your review, but first I want to provide some context for someone considering working at Arsenal: To the person who wrote this review, you either didn't work with us or you didn't pay attention while you were here. You said a bunch of nothing cliches smears to try and tear us down without providing a single tangible example how how/why we're so bad and what we could do to better ourselves. I actually give a shit, so if you were really employed here, it's a shame that you didn't come forward and tell me how you really felt. It's a common and lazy smear tactic to just say the positive reviews are fake when the reviewer doesn't have a legitimate grievance. This is why this review is a vague. Additionally, you have to have a very limited perspective / consideration of others to invalidate everyone else's positive experience because you supposedly had a bad one. The world does not revolve around you, the positive reviews are real. Your lies will not change that. My two cents, if you actually worked here (and aren't a competitor or a former employee going into direct competition with us...which is possible based on how outlandish this review is) then you were not a fit and not meant to be here. Instead of realizing that you take yourself with you wherever you go and bettering yourself, you opted to lie anonymously to others in an attempt to prevent them from joining a great company and happily succeeding. We are better off without this mentality 100%. To address the points from your review: Pros You forgot to mention that our team and culture are great. You forgot to mention that our benefits package is Fortune 500 level and extremely affordable at $0/month or $40/month for employee only. Our family packages are 1/3 of what's available in the market place. Our commission plan is outstanding because not only is it uncapped, the company does not take any commission splits out of your pocket - I hand deliver commission checks to reps directly from clients. There's so many more positives that you left out, that it's obvious this is not an unbiased review Cons "Poor Upper Management" We promote our managers and directors from within and have hired a few Fortune level directors and vps with the sole intent on developing our young talent. Our management team is fantastic, works closely with our entire team, and has an extreme amount of "skin in the game" because your success is directly correlated to theirs. "Limited Advancement" With the exception of our, VP of Sales and HR Director, all managers, account executives, directors, etc as Sales Development Representatives. There are plenty of advancement opportunities. In fact, we're looking to promote at least 2-3 new Directors and 3-5 account executives in the next 3-6 months. You just have to be good at your job, be dependable, be a leader, etc. to get the promotion! "Frequently Changing Policies" We recently introduced a few policies. Like the once per month Remote Work once per month to help us with emergency preparedness. (which is also a lead in / way for us to institute more robust remote/hybrid work environments) We also introduced FlexTime: changing from 8am-5pm rigid hours to flexible hours arriving between 7-9am and leaving between 4-6pm? Again, please give a real example of changing policies that you view negatively...they only keep getting better! "Lots of Smoke and Mirrors" We are one of the most, if not the most, transparent company out there. We took a company wide vote on whether to institute health insurance first or a 401k (we have both now), but I honored the teams wishes and got insurance after the vote. We took a poll earlier this week on whether we should purchase a company shuttle/transportation to ride to a from different events/lunches. We took a company wide vote on moving our headquarters from Saint Charles to Saint Albans - I invited everyone out to tour the property first and then vote again. The list goes on and on - you're just making the smoke and mirrors thing up. "You have to set appointments and there is luck involved" Welcome to the real world. You have to depend on people and work with them to get stuff done. Sounds like you're the type who stops contributing as soon as possible. Our team members who go above and beyond to set appointments and help the clients close (when possible) make a lot of money in commission or become recognized for their skill and get salary increases for reaching premium status ($50k salary goes up to $86k for the SDR/BDR position + Commission on top) "PTO" Yeah you can't just abandon your job and expect that while on PTO someone else will just completely do your job. i.e. Set up your sales appointments for you, gets the clients to close them, so you can come back and collect the commission checks. If you can't plan a week vacation and come back then this is not the career for you. It's sales. People don't sell your deals for you while you're out. The difference between a normal month with 20 business days and a month where you take vacation, let's say 5 days off, leaving you with 15 working days is approx. 30 extra phone calls a day. Extremely manageable. ...in fact many of our BDRs take an extra client and do this amount of work every single day of every single month! "No Remote Work" No full time remote work. We currently offer one remote work day per month and are evaluating expanding upon that. There is no camaraderie or culture if everyone is separated full time. Plus, we want people who WANT TO BE HERE. "Frequent Pointless Meeting" Categorically false. There is a point to any meeting we have, and there are very few. There is a standing 11:50am meeting for 10min before everyone breaks for lunch where we uplift each other and success stories from the day. "Employees Leaving" I just met with HR and have all 4 hires from October 2022 onboard (we're preparing to celebrate their 1year anniversary). We terminate poor performers and people who refuse to come to work or exhaust PTO for the year within a few months of starting...just like any other successful company. There have been a few who have been recruited away for their preferred role, etc. and we're happy for them. They helped Arsenal grow and Arsenal helped them get that dream job. Healthy turnover is good. If no one every left, that would be a sign of poor leadership. "Clients Leaving" We're a month to month service. Clients leave for a number of reasons, sales season is over, underperforming sales person, over performing sales person, they've sold their company, etc. We sell more clients than we lose and still have many clients from 2019 and 2020. Pretty great for a month to month service! Checkout www.arsenalbg.com/reviews to see what clients have to say! "Vast majority of employees are guys straight out of college." I am too concerned with running a successful company that takes care of it's employees and clients to place emphasis on sex/gender, how recently someone graduated college.....or race/color, age, sexual preference, experience level, etc for that matter. We hire good people and try our very best to retain them. Period. The discrimination bait is ridiculous. To the person who left this review, I wish you the best and hope that working here helped give you some perspective. I am sure your next venture will be more fruitful! Our company is not a great fit for everyone, and I hope this review and my response helped you in your decision to consider applying at Arsenal. - Aaron

I recently interviewed for a role that I was very excited about. The interview with the hiring manager was going so well and then he said, “we’re a family here.” It’s a really large company and I have a friend who is on this team and she has said so many amazing things about the company and the job itself. What do y’all think about this? I know it’s often seen as a red flag but all other flags are green. If it helps any, he is not from the US but it is a US based company.

Have you ever done interview & just felt the team or company wasn’t sitting well with your gut? How does that factor into your decision if an offer is made? Obv a job interview time is limited so you never know but sometimes I just have a vibe it’s not a match and even though I may keep going in rounds, I’m always checking if I finally get the gut feeling this may be right. I had one where round 1-4 the mood was off. I felt I was being nitpicked harshly always, they rejected me in the end
