Pros
I work in a more niche part of UX/engineering/digital product but I felt my recruiter understood my industry and experience pretty well. They were a great liaison to work with and get me placed in a good position with a relevant team and company. They also were able to secure a better pay rate than initially advertised. This is also the only company I've ever contracted with that offered employee training, which I take as a positive sign.
Cons
Unfortunately, my contract ended short due to changes with the client, but such is the nature of contract employment. Could use more responsiveness and attention from some of the other company contacts in HR/payroll.
