I worked at Ashford University full-time

Pros

They have great benefits like Health Care, tuition assistance, or attendence to the school, and bonuses.

Cons

It has a very high turn over rate. There are always new people coming in monthly because so many people either quit or are fired

I have been working at Ashford University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company benefits were run of the mill, but the pay was lackluster

    Cons

Overabundance of hubris in the leadership team who lacked leadership skills, direction, and business acumen.

    Advice to Management

The Ashford leadership team lacked the management skills and business acumen. Their lack of talent did not align with their vision and mission statement.

In reality, the only major accomplishment they made was to acquire lots of Federal Student Aid money, hire and promote their little church-going cronies, and do little else.

Anybody who thinks Ashford is a great place to work should read the WASC & HLC reports and/or letters on their websites.

Better yet, read all other news headlines and reports about the numerous investigations that are being conducted on Ashford University.

Where there is smoke, there is fire. Enough said.
