    I have been working at Aspect Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Im afraid I can't think of any. I came to Aspect with a lot of promise for the future, thinking this was the company I wanted to finish my career. I realized that this was not the company for me, not too long after starting.

    Cons

    Nearly impossible to get promoted from within. You are almost better off leaving and coming back for a higher position. If you think you qualify for a position that opened up, be ready to be told why you're not ready for the position, and how someone from the outside may be. Then be tasked with training them. Have seen this scenario multiple times.

    No 401k matching, no work/life balance, reactionary management, inconsistent management, fear tactics management, expected long hours, no performance based compensation or bonuses (just more work)

    Advice to Management

    Quit trying to cut costs by putting everything in 'the cloud', more like 'outsourcing'.

    Invest in your current workforce, especially those who have proven themselves valuable.

    Solely looking at the bottom-line can only take you so far. The continued outsourcing of technologies and responsibilities has everyone very nervous about where they stand. When people work in fear, you will typically get them to do just enough work to keep them from not getting let go.
