There is a lot of flexibility in the scheduling. You can slide your shift up and down, as well as take as much VTO (Voluntary Time Off) as needed, if it’s available, so it helps you to be able to stay on track with attendance. The pay is also nice, with the PPX model in place, because we are paid per call.
Cons
The issue is with the extreme push for sales, and the importance that is placed on that instead of actually resolving the customer’s issue with their device, which is the reason they are calling.amazement does not really care whether you actually fix the problem or not, or if you are even telling them the correct thing, as long as you make the sale.

A job that pays the bills Work from home
Cons
Underpaid and undervalued No growth opportunities High turnover Management lies everytime about policies and procedures They record and critique every call by the sales manager everyday Performance based but they don't state that during the hiring process No bonus sign on even though it was advertised on the job posting Slavery at its finest Management is sipping on Pina Coladas in the restaurant literally during a video call in St.Petersburg, Florida. In these hard economic days do you think AT&T customers are willing to buy insurance which this position is solely based on even though helping a AT&T customer's iphone and Android should be valued more because they already purchased the service which is a return on lifetime investment.
Its a great job, the customers are AWESOME! you never know how many people lose/break their phones in a day! The hourly pay was amazing- till they made everyone PPX , which then made things alot more difficult.
Cons
you have to hit certain metrics. They expect you to make your calls 8-10 mins long, in this time - you have to get to know the customer, serve, solve the issue and go through the claim while asking them things like what kind of tech do they use with wifi thats not connected to a number IF they are eligible for HTP, then you offer it to them. everyone has their days, but i feel theres no way to get through a claim that fast and make the customer buy from you...
