      Pros

The Atria team I worked with felt like family. We had a wonderful time collaborating on a project and I'd happily connect with them again.

      Cons

I honestly have no cons. It was a joy to work with this team.

          Pros

Benefits are pretty good. The people I worked with were absolute sweethearts. Everyone felt like family because the environment was very comfortable no matter how many Directors came and went. The staff looked out for the residents and the residents looked out for the staff (for the most part & in my experience). Serious conflict is far and few between, most of the daily stressors consist of perpetually-grumpy Mrs. Mable thinking her neighbors are talking too loud. Staff is quick to help each other. There is opportunity for growth as I was promoted to Engage Life Director after 3 years.

          Cons

The pay for starters. The amount of roles you take on at an assisted living facility - (no matter what department but especially activities because unfortunately people misunderstand how much actually goes into event planning and executing) - can be overwhelming and chaotic. It’s not always the easiest job emotionally as you see a lot of residents come and go at fluctuating intervals. I ultimately resigned because of COVID regulations and lack of upper leadership support.

Today HR called me for telling me that they are interested in hiring me (we discussed salary and starting date to draft the contract) but they have to wait till end of next week since by company policy the position has to stay x days opened in the internal website. They do not expect anyone to apply but they can send me the contract only by the 10 Oct. Should I sent a thank you note again after this conversation?

For all people working in Big4 and other big companies when the job application asks for the local language how true is it? My local office asks for the local language in their job postings but I know there are some people who do not speak it. If I apply for a position that asks for the local language what are my chances? Do you have to interview again if you didn’t get the job the first time but the HM wants you to apply to the additional positions that opened up a few months after?
