      Unorganized bureaucratic mess - Backend Engineer Auction Technology Group Employee Review

      Pay, bonuses, long term incentive plan, easy going

      Cons

      Work is difficult to complete due to team goals changing every other week, along with re-orgs that make no sense where multiple integral team members are moved. Management says these are not to make org charts look good, but instead to help us reach our team's goals. The fact that work tripled, and the team members capable of doing the work asked of us got halved speaks otherwise. Overall, the march downwards since acquisition by ATG continues at an increasing pace day every day. The ESPP/DSPP and even LTIP is not currently very interesting since the stock appears to be in a freefall. This same freefall should have everyone worried about their employment and the future of the company.

      Pros

      Great work life balance Great coworkers who you can feel connected to even being remote Solid Benefits Receptive to suggestions from all levels

      Cons

      Rapidly growing and evolving, which causes some confusion Not a very structured training program, get out what you put in No hand holding, but also granted the autonomy to take action Must balance different stakeholders and priorities, due to wide range of brands Unclear how to grow in the company or gain recognition Only people who are recognized are those who spend more time talking about what they did than actually doing anything Unless the work you do is straight forward or an easy to understand/even BS business case, your work will not be understood or valued. Not a good quality for a tech company

      Work life balanace is available as long as you are completing your work.

      Cons

      It's is hard to track your commission and control your bonus checks
