I have been working at Auction.com full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Tremendous growth and a huge market
Nationwide presence (offices in Irvine, Silicon Valley, Dallas, Miami, Manhattan...)
Pre-IPO
Significant talent base
Significant upgrade in training, benefits, charity work, etc... in the past 12 months
Scale of a large company ($200M+ in Revenue), with some of the nimbleness of a smaller organizations
International presence

Cons

Recent downsizing and layoffs have affected morale
Significant growth caused hiring growth and I think the plan was a little short-sided

Advice to Management

Continue to make the hard decisions to get us ready for post-IPO world
Emphasize transparency and meritocracy

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The employees are all friendly and hard working..except in Cali offices. Google invested 50m

    Cons

Dysfunctional, the procurement department goes 8 months without paying for services and ask the same questions each and every month without any progress.

What CO-CEO wants to see every expense report and invoice? Aren't you busy enough. Everyone comes to ADC because on paper it sounds great but once you add in the Jeff f factor. It is a disaster waiting to happen

Google will eventually redo the entire company and get rid of Jeff f

    Advice to Management

Get rid of procurement department, let the senior management team do their jobs and Jeff F.. Needs to stop micromanaging.

    I worked at Auction.com full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interesting work at times, potential for IPO, wide range of asset types sold, opportunity is there if you know the right people.

    Cons

Nepotism, favoritism, unqualified peeps in positions of supervision; typically corporate decision-making.

    Advice to Management

    Lighten up
