1. Weak leadership team and CEO promoting a toxic aggressive culture. Saying yes to CEO's every demand is more important than data and analysis. Most business unit leaders are figureheads. 2. Few critical team members are post-retirement (including CEO) and there are no plans for transition 3. Complete focus on exit rather than creating sustained value for customers 4. Lack of strategic approach to growth/expansion since competitive pressure is not compelling 5. Most employees are white American men, no focus on hiring people with diversity (though there's some lip service on culture, diversity, and mental health).
