I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

pay in NYC is about 9.75 hr plus commission which can range from 300-2000 per mth if youre really, really good at selling.
ample training which really helps in selling
really great people to work with, very helpful and kind

Cons

higher management, not the location managers, can be shockingly unprofessional
I was once told by an agent that in this company, if a co-worker complains to upper management about you even if the accusation or complaint is unfair or untrue, they will tell you nothing about it and then fire you one fine day out of the blue with no explanation as to why. Wow!

Advice to Management

Learn some HR skills. You really need them. You are not better than the rental agents. Listen to employee concerns and dont take sides. Be neutral and fair.

I worked at Avis Budget Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You have 2 days off. Other than that I really can't say anything as for pro's?

    Cons

High Turnover, 26 employees came and left in my one year tenure. Manage only cares for management. Just one big revolving door, unfortunantly.

    Advice to Management

Try to remember that your employees are the backbone of your franchise. Try treating them that way!

    Cons

the company does not value their employees
little to no recognition for hard work (or poor work)
    low pay
