Pros

Blue-chip company, wide-ranging experience, great benefits even if headline salaries not spectacular

Cons

Heavily exposed to Europe, muddled strategy, terrible HR/people management

Advice to Management

Choose a strategy and stick to it for longer than 6 months.

    Pros

    - Pretty relaxed working hours
    - Opportunities to move abroad if flexible
    - Friendly atmosphere

    Cons

    - No sense of urgency
    - Poor performance is not dealt with
    - No or hardly any room for promotion unless strong personal relationship with someone at senior management level

    Advice to Management

    Deal with non performers, which starts at the top. Took 5 year of lacklustre performance before the CEO got fired.

    Good working conditions, modern offfice, ability to blance work/life

    Cons

    No immediate career opportunities, dis-connected senior management, no recognition of skills and contributions made by employees.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to staff and recognise all - even those in middle mgt and not just senior mgt
