Pros

The employees were kind, courteous and considerate and working there truly felt like I was amongst family. The benefits (thanks to the collective bargaining efforts of labor unions) were great and inexpensive for the employees.

Cons

I enjoyed my work, yet did not enjoy the fact that the company tended to be indecisive about the future of the Irving site and ended up closing it down even though we were profitable.

    Pros

The atmoshere in Lexington MA was very enjoyable. Friendly, helpful people all woking together to make product and relationships, making it a good place to work.

    Cons

In an effort to save money (cost of manufacuring) all of the maunufacturing jobs in Lexington were being moved to Austin Texas.

    Advice to Management

You have good policies like Diversity and Inclusion, but it is not well managed or indroduced. There is no adequate training and people are often times badgered and harrassed when begining a new job assinment.

    Pros

Due to rapid organizational changes, there could be opportunities for those who are willing and able to work 60 to 80 hours a week without much support.

    Cons

There are a lot of changes that have not been through, hence resulting in a lot of gaps. Employees are frustrated as they try to accomplish performance goals.

    Advice to Management

Communicate the changes and acknowledge the mistakes. Pay attention to turnover and try to examine the management styles that may be leading to mass exodus. People are not leaving just because of change. They are no happy with change management.
