I have been working at BASF Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

BASF is very diverse for a chemical company, with a broad mix of products and sites. Many of the businesses were brought in via aquisition, adding to the diversity. Because of the size of the company and its growth, there are almost always opportunities to apply to new positions if you are willing to relocate.

Cons

Rigid processes from service platforms drive consistency, but some are difficult to use. Collaborative, strategic decision making can at times be confusing causing missed opportunities.

Advice to Management

The emphasis on career development is great, and should be continued.

I have been working at BASF Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great Health insurance
    Easy work schedule (flexible)
    not hard work

    Cons

you will never be promoted. Work hard? still not promoted. Work harder? they will hire outside and you will have to train that person.
Dont fear, you will get your .50 cent raise. Use this job for a resume builder. Many doors will open. The job is easy, but yet, most cant do it.

    Advice to Management

Try promoting your hard working employees. The ones that have results. Not ones that dont show up, never have anything to show, or blame others.

  2. "A very "grey" working experience"

R&D topics were very interesting and applicable

    Cons

Pay was low for an engineering intern

    Advice to Management

Make yourselves less grey and less uptight
