Stifled by inflexible frameworks, processes and bureacracy, a victim of it's own success in terms of size versus efficiency, like turning an oil tanker rather than a speedboat, cash rich and with a lack of experience and application of cost saving and genuine continuous improvement as a result. Offshore HR resulting in lack of employee support accessibility, a ticket instead of a phone call left you waiting weeks for a response to basic enquiries. Promotion is typically based on in-role ability, having a 'sponsor' which is recommended as a career advancement technique and tenure, NOT managerial capability, therefore many people managers are not, and people are commonly poor;y treated as a result. Undoubtedly the most toxic working environment I have encountered in my career.
