I worked at BAYADA Home Health Care full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Autonomy, ability set self schedule, the company provides nice incentives to reach sales goals.

Cons

My manager was not very experienced. When I took time off, there was no one to cover my case load. Work life balance was nonexistent. Have seen poor, dishonest business practices to meet the 42% profit margin required. Patients were promised services that were never provided.

Advice to Management

Make sure staff is treated with respect & dignity. Also remind managers that good business brings good business. Put patients before profit occasionally.

    Nothing comes to mind. It was the most miserable work experience that I have ever had.

    Cons

    The management is very unprofessional. If you don't talk, dress, or eat the same foods, you are made to feel as if you don't fit in.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to take management skills classes. As a supervisor/manager it is very unprofessional to talk down at your employees. communication between management and employees was very intimidating.

    Pros

    Meaningful work. I feel like I make a difference in other's lives. Flexibility in hours...can split shifts with co-workers. Offer free online CEUs. Clinical Managers easily accessible for help/advice if needed.

    Cons

    Pay is not competitive. Not much room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

    Increase pay compensation.
