I have been working at BFG full-time (More than a year)

Pros

BFG is a great company for dedicated employees with a sensible work ethic. It is fast paced and there is a considerable variety of national brands to work on. Upper and middle management have all been fair and accommodating. Advancement in one’s career is highly feasible to those willing to put in the hours and dedication it takes. A laid back atmosphere where the CEO and CCO are always present and available and make it clear that they genuinely care!

Cons

Growth in the company has interrupted the culture slightly and decreased the amount of extramural activities the agency does together as a whole. I feel confident that once the agency catches up to the new workload this will no longer be an issue.

Advice to Management

Apparently the filed markets need a bit more attention. I only know this from reading past reviews on this site, I work at the headquarters and I feel that the management is truly great here.

I worked at BFG full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

working for bfg is largely a lot of fun, and the pay (although inconsistent) is better than average for the type of job that it is. certain aspects of the company culture are really good. its a great job to have while you are going to school depending on where you stand on certain ethical issues, and what you are willing to put up with. much better job for a male then for females.

    Cons

very poorly managed over all. employee safety in the field is largely an after thought. various program objectives are complete unreasonable and not reality based. hours are in no way consistent. poor work ethic, and inappropriate behavior are often times rewarded both in the office and in the field more then it is discouraged.

    Advice to Management

listen to what the people who are actually in the field every day doing the job are telling you. reevaluate human resource practices, and the criteria for management positions. it seems like the people in charge are generally the exact opposite of the people that should be in charge.
