I worked at BJ's Restaurants as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people in the office were friendly, and were fun people to talk to. In addition, there is room for growth as long as you are willing to slog through a lot of hours and not afraid to work for the sake of working.

    Cons

Had to work the graveyard shift on multiple occasions, even after working the previous day shift (i.e. go to work on Thursday from 8am - 4pm, go back to work on Friday 12am - 8am).

  2. "Hectic and confusing."

I have been working at BJ's Restaurants full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Opportunities for advancement if you are willing to work for it.

    Cons

You do not get paid enough for the work you are expected to do. Once the trainers left, I figured out to my horror that I had to do twice the amount of work for my station than I was expecting to do (which was already a lot, more than one person can handle in a three hour time period before service).

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees fairly, and let them know from the get-go exactly how much work they'll be doing daily.
