I worked at BMM Logistics full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

I have worked at several sales companies this job sucks!!

Cons

You work over 50 hours a week. You are not paid on a salaried scale because if you take a day off they dock you eight hours. They like pushovers not real professionals. They also are not a true transportation cmpany because they don't have trucks. They are strictly a logistics company.

Advice to Management

You guys down their need to put a real system in place for your sales people. Also you need to write up an attendance policy so that every employee will know what is expected of them before you fire them.

I worked at BMM Logistics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you're happy making no money, working 50+ hrs for peanuts, and being put down everyday. Then this job is for you!

    Cons

Owners are extremely shady and do not speak in english half of the time. You are working out of a smelly basement, kiss the Sun and happiness goodbye! Lowest salary and commisions in the industry. The owners will put you down and talk bad about you behind your back, when you quit they will tell all your clients they fired you. They do not work as a "team" and will turn the guy next to you against you. Best advice I can give you is to never start. They do not care about you, and will throw you under a bus the first chance they get. They do not pay on time, and more than 50% of the time its the incorrect amount.

I have been working at BMM Logistics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

BMM Logistics promotes a very open and welcoming work environment. Both the owners and the management want everyone to succeed, and are more than willing to help anyone who needs it. They know potential when they see it, and will prioritize promoting from within the company. Commission is uncapped, and you can earn good commission in a short amount of time after starting.

You're treated like family at BMM. Everyone is friendly and the owners reward hard work with end of the month parties, free breakfast every Monday, and poker tournaments. They also encourage employees to interact with each other outside of the office through Sports tournaments and other social gatherings. BMM also offers great benefits (commuter benefits, dental insurance, 401k plan, etc.)

    Cons

The work hours are longer than most (7-5) but the days go by quickly because you're never without something to do. It can seem like a lot at first, but it is the industry standard and you adjust to it quickly.

Building relationships can seem difficult at first, and you'll have to put your nose to the grindstone before you start really seeing consistent results. The most important thing to remember is to be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day, and success will come to you if you follow up on leads and stay positive. Management is also there to help, so don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and keep the positive work environment. Keep giving credit where credit is due and be sure to keep dedicated employees around.
