        Pros

Great benefits compared to similar organizations. Great company with long established history that played a big role in building America. Big enough to have a solid technical department with great support. Work groups are small enough so you have autonomy.

        Cons

Work load sometimes is a lot. Lower salary than similar jobs at other companies.

          Business Outlook

          Pros

Great earning potential Good coworkers in Cicero specifically Union protection Mostly universal seniority, can go anywhere and work Excellent opportunity to make six figures if you don't have much experience, they WILL hire you, and you can always look for a better job while making good money

          Cons

On call and often working-expect people to stop inviting you to things after you say no for a couple months straight Management always looking to fire you Long term job outlook is a little sketchy-CEO and others actively trying to eliminate the position You will be furloughed at some point most likely but if you are okay with moving to chase work you shouldn't be out of work for more than a year

        Senior Financial Analyst

I went through the final round of interview last Thursday with the CFO. It seemed to have went well, she said she'll talk to me soon. I haven't heard back yet. When is an appropriate time to follow up. And should I email the recruiter or the hiring manager?

        Customer Service Representative CSR

I had an interview this afternoon for a customer service position in a call center. The ad was very vague to begin with and at the end of it I felt like I really didn't know anything more about the job. When I asked about the starting pay, which was not published in the ad, they looked incredulous (they were doing on-the-spot hiring today) and then asked me "What's your range?" And only responded with "I think we could meet that." And still never gave me a straight answer. Is this a red flag?

        Software Engineer

I did my initial interview with a “better established” startup and they said the interview process is 5 interviews. 3 technical then 1 interview with the CEO then another technical interview. Idk about you but that seems like a lot of interviews and they said they want to do it as fast as possible in a short time span. Is this a normal amount of interviews? Is this a red flag? For a full stack software position 4-5 years exp how much salary should be the norm in a hcol area?
