Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Will gain corporate experience and also have access to corporate benefit plans

Cons

Management is awful. Little to no room to grow. They hire incompetent people which then costs the company in time and money because people don't know how to do their jobs. There is also no formal training and you learn based off what other people teach you. Overall highly unorganized and unprofessional work atmosphere. Pay is well below the average and slim bonuses.

Advice to Management

Invest in your employees for better outcomes. Raise the salaries!

I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good hours, good benefits, and good people to work with. The environment is friendly and supportive, and training is ample.

    Cons

    - Extreme emphasis on micromanaging
    - Lack of competitive salary with management that isn't even trying to compete, knows it, and doesn't care

    Advice to Management

    - Pay your employees a reasonable salary and they will be less likely to leave. This reduces turnover, increases happiness in employees, and leads to happier clients.

Most jobs are so company specific that it is tough to transition out of the company.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more focus on employees and making sure they are happy.
