Positive Outlook

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Huge opportunities to discover talent and contribution

Cons

Satellite gets little over view from other top administrators, can get lost in the shuffle.

Advice to Management

Aggressive hiring does appear suspicious to the oncoming prospect, and a custom proprietary system is in the best interest of the company since it quickly builds operator confidence and contribution.

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's good for those seeking an entry-level position or a foot in the door to a financial services job

    Cons

The culture is very cliquey and the talent pool is small. If you're interested in learning, this firm doesn't offer many opportunities and usually generates systematic rather than independent thinkers. You're in for button pushing at its highest.

    Advice to Management

The biggest way to make progress is to change the culture. Bring in champions who are willing to open up minds and make their jobs more rewarding.
