I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Vacation time is great! Also, if you try hard and learn well, there is room to grow

    Cons

Since the merger with BNY, you never know if your area will be cut out and moved to a different city or outsourced.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking away monetary compensation to employees that work their hearts out for you. Mass, cheap lunches with dollar store quality knick-knacks make the employees angry, not happy. Take time to see what the operations areas actually do to make your areas strong.

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    401k matches 5% + 2% discretionary annual match

    Cons

Salaries and Bonus are not competitive. Employees get 1-2% annual salary increases and very low or no bonus. The CEO gets $1 salary + $13 million annual bonus...go figure!! Poor revenue business model (too safe).

    Advice to Management

get out of New York City!!!
