    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good benefits package
Minimal stock options for all employees

    Cons

Extremely low pay compared to market
Constant threats of layoffs (including having other companies tour and give bids of your office space while you are working)
You WILL work more than 40 hours a week with no OT
    No upward mobility
    Poor company culture
    Rampid low employee morale
Crazy hierarchy where you have multiple bosses

    Advice to Management

Hire more experienced personnel, and shell out the dollars to get that personnel. Hiring absolutely nothing but fresh college graduates paying them peanuts does not seem to be working for you. Your money is being hemorrhaged through constant training and wild turnover. Ultimately, listen to your employees, with such a bureaucratic hierarchy system, it takes too long to make the slightest of changes, and most, if not all, of any positive ideas brought to your attention ever come into fruition

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Vacation time is great! Also, if you try hard and learn well, there is room to grow

    Cons

Since the merger with BNY, you never know if your area will be cut out and moved to a different city or outsourced.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking away monetary compensation to employees that work their hearts out for you. Mass, cheap lunches with dollar store quality knick-knacks make the employees angry, not happy. Take time to see what the operations areas actually do to make your areas strong.
