I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Great life work balance. Different parts of the company pulling against each other.

Cons

No real outlook for growth. Looking to keep what they have. Very difficult to move from one part of the company to another.

Advice to Management

Keep looking for ways to grow a profitable division vs. just maintaining what you have.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a good place to enter to gain experience working for a major institution. Some colleagues are not very motivated but there are many that are and form good bonds.

    Cons

Difficult to improve processes. Management not engaged. Talent management is lacking which makes it difficult to advance even with a masters degree.

    Advice to Management

Provide better opportunities to the employees that go above and beyond. Eliminate the aspects of the culture that make it acceptable for many to do the bare minimum to get by.
