A good single site operation with a strong scientific base. Good opportunities for advancement particularly for people bringing new skills to the company.
Cons
For many years the company was directly owned by the UK department of health, who allowed the organisation to work to a civil service mentality and failed to be competetive with rivals in the plasma market.
