I worked at BRTRC (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, good pay, skilled coworkers. Learned a lot in the publications team, they support their workers.

    Cons

Overly political project managers. Lots of fighting for power between managers. If they lose your contract, you lose your job and it has less to do with performance and more to do with fussy clients.

    Advice to Management

Stop the in-office yelling and power plays. Better client negotiation. Don't take risks that could cost a contract.

    I worked at BRTRC full-time

    Pros

Nice people, generous in some areas but oddly cheap in others. Good benefits. Good work/life balance

    Cons

The company will never grow out of its 300 person box. It's been stuck at around the same size for 6-7 years. Leadership spends a fortune on the latest consultant or new idea or trend or idea but doesn't research or stick with anything long enough. Not enough experience with how to run and grow a business in the executive team. People stay for 10-15-20 years and it takes years to get promoted or let alone become an avp or vp.
