Former Employee - Server in Paramus, NJ
    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Bahama Breeze part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Corporate serving is easier to get into because they are used to cycling people in and out seasonally or part-time. They had a portal to put in work/time off requests, and trade shifts with other employees.

    Cons

The environment was really nerve racking (customer wise) and uninviting and isolating (coworker wise). if one of your customers has a complicated food or drink order, whether or not you can get that order out to the customer is dependent on if the bartenders/expeditors liked you. Either you're being micromanaged by someone with no authority to do so, or your parties are being sharked. People only cover their friends...
