I have been working at Baker Hughes as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

BHI has a lot to offer: great pay, stability, great benefits, and a great working environment. There are plenty of options within the company.

    Cons

ALOT of driving from one location to another, people who aren't qualified for certain positions and have no education are promoted and make more money than the people who are qualified with a Bachelors and/or Masters degree.
They don't value all of their employees.

    Advice to Management

Hire qualified people and value all employees

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Baker Hughes full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay master. Good program for Engineer development. Best innovations in the industry. Lot of flexibility to move around inside the company.

    Cons

Bean counting with the field personnel. Cost cutting and not cost focus.

    Advice to Management

Stop your buddy system and partiality in the OKC D&E office its highly unprofessional and get some qualified engineers or MBA for coordinators and management not some high school drop out field hand who could cut it anymore in the field!!!!
