I have been working at Baker Hughes full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great benefits
Potential to move throughout the Globe
    Substitute experience for education

    Cons

Upper Supply chain management waits until staff is drowning before acting, whereas sales staffs up for new business.
Lack of support for supervisors, too often caught in the middle, not a pleasant place to be.

    Advice to Management

Allow front line supervisors and management to lead and manage their business, drop the micro-managing attitudes.
More In depth employees surveys will allow employees to really tell you how they Feel. Get off your high horse and take some constructive criticism and improve the business.
Stop hiring military rejects just because they served (I am pro veteran hiring, but they haven't picked good Management from there).
Google search potential employees, especially for "inappropriate relationships". Huge Red Flag!!!

    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Vacation and sick time upon employment

    Cons

Bad management. No opportunity for advancement within company. You are not judged or advanced by your knowledge, education or work ethics but on who you know.
