I worked at Baker Hughes full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Traveling to various areas in the US to do field work, also receiving daily field pay. Health benefits, 401k, pension plan and stock all were very beneficial!!

    Cons

Sugar Land location, very political and various mid management individuals were very messy. if they did not like you, they would find way to get you out the company. For instance, PIP, basically a paper trail that was merely a set up for failure for an individual. To many political chiefs and not enough indians. Also seemed like at Sugar Land, they wanted to hire all there friends from Champion and Nalco

    Advice to Management

Be very selective of who you hire in management. Value to the work ethic of employees that put their all into the company when working and representing it in the public eye
